Relationship of Star 5 and StarHub

Star 5 is a strategic partner of StarHub. As an exclusive preferred partner of StarHub, Star 5 carries a whole wide range of StarHub services and products to cater the various needs of the customers.

Concept of the store

The concept of the store will be according to the StarHub Concept. It will not be just another ordinary mobile handphone shop. In fact, the shop offers a total solution and a one stop Hub that caters to Corporate, families and private individuals the services of entertainments, informations and telecommunications. It covers the mass population which includes both locals and foreigners. It will provide customers with a one stop shopping experience for all StarHub services including Cable TV, Max-On-Line, Internet, Post paid cards, Prepaid & Top up cards, Mobile phones, calling cards and phonecards.

Branding
Star 5 carries the same branding and promotional message as a StarHub shop. Point of Sales materials such as hanging Mobile, posters, display Standees are provided by StarHub so as to ensure that there is a consistent outlook on the StarHub shop and the exclusive partners. This will help to create awareness for the existence of StarHub image and marketing campaign represented by an Exclusive partner. Mystery shoppers will be going around the shops to ensure that the shops maintain a minimum standard for the branding and the level of customer service.

Achievement

• In our very first year of operation (year 2000), as an Exclusive partner of StarHub, our Company was awarded the Best Newcomer award and the Top Roadshow award.
• In the following year 2001, we were awarded the Top Sales award and again the Top Roadshow award.
• In the year 2002, we were awarded the Best Sales award and Best Shop Design award.
• In the year 2003, we were awarded the Overall Top Sales Award, Top MaxOnLine Sales Award and Top CableTV Sales Award.
